Maintenance & Operation
- Self-Cleaning: Reverses electrical polarity every 5 hours to clear calcium/scale from titanium electrodes.
- Manual Cleaning: Occasional acid/water cleaning (1 part hydrochloric acid to 10 parts water) may be required in hard-water areas.
- Electrical: Should be wired directly to the pump/DB timer to run alongside filtration.
- Water Balance: Requires regular manual checks for pH, total alkalinity, and calcium hardness.
